NICE GUYS.............., LAST!

Today this nice maverick has decided to take a shot at the modern-day criticism of some good souls ! : WHO SAYS NICE GUYS FINISH LAST?!! okay, they may not always appear to be winning, but by no means they are laggards!
They are running a different race altogether! the sprinters who run a short while and finish the race, quickly ahead of the nice guys (and nice girls, too!) think that they are ahead, but they are not in the same event! the nice people chug along at their own pace, no doubt, and sometimes appear to be going in the wrong/reverse direction, but they are clear in their minds, what they want to achieve, and back themselves, quietly and unobtrusively, under any circumstances! Yes, it is still true, slow (in the systematic/planned/deliberate sense of the term) and steady can and does still win the COMPLEX RACE (mostly against one's one inner demons and not against any external competitor!) called ZINDAGI!

Nice guys are real achievers, and not necessarily in the duniya-dari barometer, of paisa, gaadi, bangla, filmi apsara as biwi. et. al.
but they have one jama-punji which many of the sharks, so called street-smart guys generally lack and that is VIVEKAM!

They have the power of discretion, which helps them make the right decision, inevitably, in most situations. even if they make mistakes, they are keen to acknowledge it and correct themselves, including doing prayaschit; they are devoted to the truth/being conscientious and that has an unbeatable quality, which the 100 m dashers, the get-ahead-quickly-in-life types don't easily understand!

jai ho to Shakespeare, who said so eloquently : TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE AND THOU SHALL NOT BE UNTRUE TO ANYBODY ELSE!

and yes, nice guys seemingly finish last because they are true to themselves and their ideals!

but like the late Baba Amte (who certainly is a Bharat Ratna, in our hearts, doesn't matter if he actually gets the official one or not!) or Mahatma Gandhi (it is good that the nobel peace prize was never given to him, because he would have shuddered to think that the prize given to him is from a company which first invented the TNT/explosives, which for all its scientific usage has also got a number of negative, demonical usages! plus he certainly has won the hearts of people all the world, that is his prize and not a piece of gold/paper and a few lakhs of rupees!) have shown IT IS, INDEED, MORE IMPORTANT TO BE NICE, though it is nice to be important!

If one is really nice, one LASTS, AND OUTLASTS MOST 'fast-track' ghodas, jinki tain-tain-phus ho jaati hain jab vikat paristhithiyon ka lagatar samna karna padhti hain!

the nice, guy digs in, and with a calm, inner resolve, yes, GETS GOING, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH!

So, call a Laxman from Ramayana or from the cricket field! these nice guys are real winners, they don't win for themselves! THEY WIN FOR THE WORLD!

yes, my dear! kyonki duniya kayam hain accho ki acchai par and unassuming/unexpectant goodness!

THE GOODNESS IN THE GOOD IS NEVER FINISHED, THERE IS AN AKSHAYA PATRA OF GOODNESS (and not gold, fortunately!) in them, and jab woh hain, THEY CAN NEVER FINISH LAST! They will last and last, and they don't have to beat anybody else; the others just wither away and fall by the wayside!

so, release that goodness in your heart! and do that without fear or expectations!
